The Cricketeers: 1978 World Series Cricket

The ‘Cricketeers’ were characters created by PBL in the late 70s to promote Kerry Packer’s World Series Cricket to kids. The crinkly hand-drawn lines have an endearing charm that sometimes gets lost under the glossy Pixar-esque polish of today’s animation.
